Who will process my personal information?

Gaia-ESO Survey is a collaborative science project involving institutes from the UK, several European countries, Australia, Canada, Chile and the USA. This website is hosted in the UK, and maintained by the University of Cambridge staff. The information published here applies to the use of your personal information (also known as 'personal data') by the Gaia-ESO Survey team and the University of Cambridge through the viewing or use of this website. 

Personal information collected

When you visit www.gaia-eso.eu we collect the request made by your browser to the server hosting the website which includes the IP address, the date and time of connection and the page you ask for. We use this information to ensure the security of our websites and we delete it after a maximum of one year. We may use and disclose it as necessary in the event of a security concern or incident.

We store email addresses of the users registered with this website. These email addresses are stored for as long as the users remain registered with www.gaia-eso.eu.

Names and email addresses provided through our contact form are only used by the members of the Gaia-ESO Survey team to answer submitted queries.
